KLEINE MO beleeft premiere tijdens Cinekid

Aanstaande zaterdag 20 oktober beleeft Kleine Mo haar premiere tijdens het Cinekid Film Festival.
Kleine Mo is de korte jeugddocumentaire van Sjoerd Oostrik. 

Mo is klein van stuk maar groot van geest. Hij zit in groep 8 en vindt veel van de regels op school oneerlijk en raar. Zijn leraren vinden die eigenwijsheid maar lastig. Mo vraagt zich af hoe dat volgend jaar zal gaan op de middelbare school. Moet hij zich aanpassen aan de wereld, of de wereld aan Mo?

De film werd ontwikkeld en gerealiseerd in het kader van Kids&Docs van het Mediafonds en in coproductie met de VPRO. De film wordt ook op Cinekid vertoond op zondag 21 oktober om 14.00 uur in het Ketelhuis.

Little Mo is premiering during Cinekid Film Festival Amsterdam on Saturday October 20th. The film is a short youth documentary by filmmaker Sjoerd Oostrik.

Mo is short in size but large in spirit. He is in his final year of grammar school and thinks the rules over there are weird and unfair. His teachers find his stubborn character hard to deal with. Mo wonders what this will be like next year, in middle school. Does he have to adapt to the world, or the world to him?  

Little Mo is part of Kids&Docs of the Dutch Cultural Mediafund. The film will also screen on Sunday October 21st. Tickets are available here.
