THOSE WHO FEEL THE FIRE BURNING selected for International and Dutch competition IDFA

The feature length documentary Those who feel the fire burning is selected for the Dutch and International Competition of IDFA 2014.

Those Who Feel the Fire Burning depicts in an unconventional, poetic form a serious social problem: the hopeless existence of refugees stuck at the edge of Europe.

IDFA, the largest documentary festival in the world, takes place in Amsterdam from November 19th until November 30th. The film is nominated to win both the international prize for best documentary and the prize for best Dutch documentary.
Filmmaker Morgan Knibbe graduated from the Dutch Film Academy in 2012 with his film A Twist in the Fabric of Space. Recently he won the Silver Leopard in Locarno with his short documentary Shipwreck and is also nominated for the European Film Awards with this film.

Those who feel the fire burning is produced by BALDR Film with a Wildcard of the Netherlands Film Fund and will be distributed in The Netherlands by Cinema Delicatessen.
